Many people have asked why I chose the name emaginationcreations...

The first part (emagination) comes from the word imagination and I just changed
the i to an e, for ElizaBeth, my first name. The last part (creations) comes from my art
of dolls, painting, sculpting, collages, dollhouse miniatures....everything is a creation.

I have been surrounded with art all my life; my mother was an artist. Some of my earliest
memories are of her at the dining room table working on assignments for her art class.
Myself, I had no formal training but was simply blessed with an "artists eye" and
a double dose of imagination - another reason I had to chose that name.

I love creating OOAK art dolls using Barbies,Kellys and Liddle Kiddles as my canvases.
My favorite designs are mod/retro but I also love designing fairies, goth, mini Barbies,
character dolls...the list is endless. I  love to take "scrappy" Liddle Kiddles that aren't
suitable for a collection and turning them into something beautiful that someone will cherish.

My passion for dollhouses, which I've collected for over 20 years, led me to making
dollhouse miniatures...another of my favorites things. 

My mind seems to wander to creating something ALL the time...
even while sitting at stoplights - which has gotten me more than a few strange looks
when the light turned green and I was still sitting there creating something in my head!
